How does this countdown timer work?

Enter an event name and a target date and time, then press Add. The tool calculates the difference between now and your target and updates the days, hours, minutes, and seconds every second. You can add as many events as you like and they all count down at the same time.

Can I track more than one event at once?

Yes. Add as many countdowns as you need — birthdays, deadlines, launches, holidays, or trips — and each one shows its own live timer. Your events are saved in your browser automatically, so they are still there when you come back.

How do I share a countdown with someone else?

Press the Share button to copy a link that contains all of your events. Anyone who opens that link will see the same countdowns ticking down on their own device. The data is packed into the link itself, so nothing is stored on a server.

What happens when the countdown reaches zero?

When an event's target time arrives, its card switches to a green 'arrived' state and begins showing how long ago it happened. Past events are clearly marked so you can tell at a glance which ones are still upcoming.

Is my data private?

Yes. Everything runs entirely in your browser. Your events are stored only on your own device and inside any share link you choose to create — nothing is uploaded to a server, and no account or sign-up is required.
