Multiply the net (tax-excluded) price by (1 + rate/100). For a 10% rate, a net price of 1000 becomes 1000 x 1.10 = 1100. The calculator shows the tax amount and gross total.

Divide the gross (tax-included) price by (1 + rate/100). For a 10% rate, a gross price of 1100 becomes 1100 / 1.10 = 1000 net, and the tax is 100.
