It parses the method (-X), URL, headers (-H), body data (-d, --data, --data-raw, --data-urlencode), basic auth (-u), query mode (-G), and multipart form fields (-F), including multi-line commands with backslash continuations.

Is my curl command sent anywhere?

Accepted Answer

No. Parsing and code generation run entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, so it is safe to paste commands containing tokens or credentials.

Why did my command fail to parse?

Accepted Answer

The command must contain a URL. Unbalanced quotes or an unsupported flag can also stop parsing; remove exotic options and keep the standard curl syntax.

Does the JavaScript output run in the browser?

Accepted Answer

The fetch output uses the browser Fetch API and may hit CORS limits for cross-origin calls. The axios and Node.js tabs are intended for server-side or build-tool use.
